Extension In Period of Modification of Import Export Code (IEC) Till 31.08.2021
As per the current provision, an IEC holder must ensure that the details in its IEC are updated electronically every year during April-June period. However, for the F.Y. 21-22 the period for update of IEC details was extended by DGFT by one Month till 31st July 2021.
The DGFT vide Notification no 16/2015-2020 dated 9th August 2021, has further extended the period for update of IEC details by one more month till 31st August 2021. In cases where there are no changes in IEC details, same needs to be confirmed online within the extended period.
