The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Public Notice No. 53/2015-2020 dated April 09, 2021  relaxing the late cut provisions in relation to shipping bills with Let Export date from 01.04.2019 to 31.03.2020. Hence, if such shipping bills are submitted on or before 30.09.2021 for an MEIS claim, no late cut would be applicable.

However, any such application submitted after 30.09.2021, the last date for submitting MEIS applications shall be as per the Handbook of Procedures 2015-20 and late cut shall be applicable accordingly.
