NIC released “E-Invoice System User Manual V.1.02” for Taxpayers
This document aims to explain the operational procedure of how to use offline and online tools to generate E-Invoices. This document is intended for registered taxpayers under GST, who are the main stakeholders of the E-Invoice system under GST.
The sale of a car by the company after using it for business purposes attracts 18% GST: Gujarat AAR
The Gujarat bench of the Authority for Advance ruling (AAR) on 01.06.2022 has held that the sale of used cars attracts 18% GST since it falls under the category of S.No. 3 to notification No. 8/2018-CT(Rate) dated 25.01.2018.
Govt collects Rs 1.40 lakh crore GST for May’2022
The GST revenue for May’2022 stood at Rs 1,40,885 crore. The numbers have surged 44% against Rs 97,821 crore during the corresponding period of the preceding financial year.
