New date of submission of applications for scrip-based FTP schemes

The DGFT has amended Para 3.13A of the FTP vide Notification No. 53/2015-2020 dated February 1, 2022, to extend the last date of submitting applications for script-based schemes under MEIS, SEIS, ROSCTL, ROSL, and 2% additional ad hoc incentive to 28.02.2022.

Anti-Evasion drive of CGST Navi Mumbai Commissionerate busts fake ITC racket of Rs. 10.68 Crore

A team of officers of Anti-Evasion under CGST, Navi Mumbai conducted an inquiry against the proprietor of M/s. Navnit Steels (GSTIN: 27AEXPD3871K1ZV) on Wednesday (February 2, 2022). The firm has engaged in availing and utilizing fraudulent Input Tax Credit (ITC) on the bogus invoices of Rs 60 Crore, thereby defrauding the government exchequer.
