Gujarat Authority For Advance Ruling Rules That Fruit-Based Fizzy Drinks To Attract 40% Rate Under GST

Under GST tariffs, fruit-pulp or fruit juice-based drinks are taxed at a 12% rate. On the other hand, aerated waters and carbonated drinks are charged at 28% GST along with 12% cess.

The Goods and Services Tax Network (“GSTN”) has enabled new functionality to facilitate the filing of applications for advance ruling, appeal, etc. by unregistered persons on the GST portal.
