The highest GST Revenue collected for January 2022

The gross GST receipts for the month of January 2022, at Rs 1,40,986 crores, were the highest since the start of GST, according to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday (February 1). GST collection increased by 15% in January compared to the same month last year, owing to increased economic activity and anti-evasion measures.
