Gross GST Collection in FY 21-22 shows Increasing trends

The Ministry of Finance vide press release dated 29/Nov/2021 has stated that gross GST Collection in FY 2021-22 post COVID-19 pandemic outbreak are showing an increasing trend. The Minister stated the gross GST collection for FY 2020-21 and 2021-22 (till Oct 2021) amounted to Rs. 11,36,805 & Rs. 8,10,816 respectively

Requirement of Clearance certificate for import of Tea from Nepal as “Darjeeling Tea”

The CBIC issued Instruction No. 25/2021-Customs dated November 24, 2021 stating that license and clearance certificate mandatory for the import of teas from Nepal as "Darjeeling Tea".
